Honestly, it was probably best that Roger and I were drowsy because the seminars, etc. being held on the ship weren’t of much interest to us, so sleeping seemed to be a good pastime. Sad, but true, one of the highlights of our days at sea was seeing what animal our steward, Randof, had created on our bed in the evenings when they turned down our cabin. The first night he did this, it was a rabbit, and Jed was so thrilled with it that he had to take a picture of it himself with HIS camera (yes, he has a kid’s digital camera). Below is MY picture of the rabbit – complete with evening mint eyes!
While at Kid’s Club, they did some face painting, and the first day was Super Hero Day – when we picked Jed up late that afternoon, he had a red mask painted around his eyes and a “J” painted onto a shield on his arm. Unfortunately, I didn’t think to take his picture, but he was very happy to be “Super Jed” that day. The second day, he transformed into a dinosaur – see below as the dinosaur enjoys some chips and salsa before dinner.
