We had a bit of backyard fun in June despite the boys each being sick off and on for some time now. Will it ever end I ask? Clearly, so far, the answer is a resounding, "NO!!" Anyway, we plug along. Here Kit is thoroughly enjoying playing in the sandbox - okay, actually, he's hamming it up for the camera here, but he was playing in the sandbox prior to my taking this picture!
Then, we had dog-washing day. Jed desperately wanted to help, and Meggie really wished she could just make herself disappear behind the grass blades...didn't work girlfriend! So, here you have Jed and "his dog, Meggie."
During the month of June, I'm not sure when it exactly happened, but Kit learned to pedal a bike. It's nothing to smirk at - it's a BIG DEAL! He is very proud of his new-found ability as you can see. And, no, we can't get him to stop wearing his Aussie boots even though the temps are tipping 100 degrees out there!
Yes, as you see here, Jed was seriously getting into dog-washing mode. It helps that Max really enjoys a bath....
Kit looking very pensive this time - not caring too much about the camera - he had some serious sand to get into his boots before I made him come into the house.
